Speaking on the new program that is scheduled to be announced, Hans Christensen, Vice President of Dubai Technology Entrepreneur Campus, said: “Through Dtec, Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority aims to connect investors with innovators and pioneers who possess ground-breaking ideas and concepts, to spread the culture of investing in technology start-ups and supporting young entrepreneurs. In line with that objective, we will announce a one-of-a-kind program at GITEX 2021 that will support early-stage technology entrepreneurs and start-ups – providing a global platform to reach the largest group of ambitious and promising thinkers.”
Christensen added: “The significant shifts witnessed in work culture worldwide during the coronavirus pandemic is an opportunity for entrepreneurs to enter promising new sectors in technology and digital solutions. These sectors served as a successful alternative to traditional business, guaranteeing the uninterrupted continuation of education and business.”
Dtec offers GITEX 2021 visitors a series of comprehensive solutions for entrepreneurs across technology and digital sectors, which will support them in establishing start-ups and small- and medium-sized enterprises. It will also give one of the new applicants looking to register their startups at Dtec during GITEX Week a free-of-charge company setup and flexi-desk for one year.
