Middle East Entrepreneurs Network Announces First Networking Mixer For 2013

The Middle East Entrepreneurs Network (MEEN), the regional forum that brings together businesses and services supporting the spirit of entrepreneurship, announced that the first business networking event for 2013 will be held at Media One at Dubai Media City from 7 pm onwards on January 6th, 2013.  Taner Kilicarslan, an expert in online marketing and entrepreneurship, will speak on ‘How to leverage tools on the internet to drive more revenue’ and ‘How to use social media for customer engagement and retention’ at the MEEN mixer.

Meera Kaul, Managing Director of Optimus Technology & Telecommunications and Founder of MEEN, will also be conducting a highly intensive workshop for entrepreneurs to help them structure and execute ecommerce business models. The work shop, which will begin at 9.30 am, will cover topics such as ‘Structuring your online business’, ‘Technology and marketing’ and ‘Legal and terms’ for online businesses. “The MEEN work shop will be a summarized version of the intensive 4 weeks work shop we have been conducting for entrepreneurs globally. We received great feedback from our recent work shop in Turkey and decided to share the same with our network of UAE’s entrepreneurs,” explains Meera Kaul.

“We are also happy to announce our first Networking Mixer this year. The MEEN Mixer promises to be a melting pot of entrepreneurs and professionals for direct business and social networking. We plan to hold regular Mixers in the UAE inviting experts from various fields to talk on different aspects of running a business. MEEN will become a strong platform to get advice on setting up and running your business and a forum where ideas and experiences can be shared,” she adds.

The Middle East Entrepreneurs Network (MEEN) has over the past few years consolidated itself as a serious group of entrepreneurs and business people who are looking to create an environment conducive to do business in the Middle East. MEEN helps fellow entrepreneurs in their businesses by generating business for them within the network.

The focus and vision of MEEN, amongst other things will be to help individuals create business ideas and to connect them with people looking at investing in ideas and businesses or to find partners who can help develop the idea into reality. MEEN has also created sub groups for focused segments like IT, Women Entrepreneurs, Trading etc.

The network is designed to become a reliable body, which will authenticate and verify the quality and value for business ventures and services. The forum will hold regular networking mixers and make available a complete knowledge repository of case studies, best practices within Middle East and relevant data to its members.
