Transformers FZE, the Dubai-based ‘wow factor’ event ingredients company that first introduced Digital Graffiti Wall to the UAE, has been shortlisted in the RSA Start Up Business of the Year category of the prestigious Gulf Capital SMEinfo Awards 2013.

Since launching in May 2012, Transformers has established a reputation as a pioneer in the field of design-led interactive event entertainment and decor with a technology bias. Transformers introduced the Digital Graffiti Wall & Digital Surface to the region, alongside Fotopod (the groundbreaking Shoot & Share photo booth), a collection of stunning costume characters and laser-cut acrylic table centrepieces. The company also provides Transformation Stations including Toyota’s thrilling Temptation Stations at Sandance in May 2013. Transformers will launch YrMirror (interactive digital signage) and Tee Tiler (interactive touch pod T shirt design) in the UAE during Q4 2013, with further exciting new products and partnerships to be announced in late August 2013.
Transformers has also been commissioned to produce bespoke pieces for special events; for example, the company created all of the costumes and props for Water, Fire & Light, the New Year’s Eve 2013 celebrations at the Burj Khalifa in Downtown Dubai and has designed branded hostess uniforms (including hats) for Jumeirah and Ritz Carlton Dubai.
The company is owned by British-born entrepreneur and celebrity event producer Danielle Nay, who has been based in Dubai since 2009.
