Her key focus was to create employment opportunities for individuals that will lead to job creation, and thereby enhance their companies and the economy as well. Mona Tavassoli, Founder of Mom Souq, said: “The insights provided by Mrs. Badriwere extremely beneficial. Her presentation on Du, through CSR initiatives, which was able to create additional employment for the UAE, unveiled numerous ideas and opportunities that Mompreneurs can capitalize on to ensure the consistent and profitable growth of their businesses today.”

People today take the time to educate themselves on products and services before they make a purchase. Salma Mohamed, Associate Product Marketing Manager for the MENA region for Google explained to Mompreneurs the importance of having an online presence.

Mohamed stated that traditionally in order for a company to succeed, the customer needs to know the physical location of the business. However, in today’s digital world, it is imperative to have an online presence to ensure customers know who you are during their decision making process, along with the added benefits offered relative to the competition.

Building on Mohamed’s presentation was Loulou Khazen Baz, Founder and CEO of Nabbesh, and winner of the reality show ‘The Entrepreneur’, who explained the importance of hiring the right staff along with the steps on how to build a highly effective and efficient workforce.

Other speakers that attended and demonstrated how Mompreneurs can add to their portfolio of accomplishments and success consisted of: Alex Sworder, Project Manager, The Life and Style Show UAE 2013 and Becky Crayman, Head of Awards, Gulf Capital SMEInfo Awards.
