The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has unveiled a new comprehensive strategy to enhance the visitor experience within the emirate significantly. This initiative includes the launch of a dedicated Incentives and Rewards programme, designed to recognize and celebrate businesses and individuals who consistently deliver exceptional service to tourists.
Complementing this, DCT Abu Dhabi has established a brand-new Visitor Experience (VX) Academy in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Hospitality Academy – Les Roches. This academy will serve as a crucial platform for upskilling frontline professionals across the tourism and hospitality sectors. The curriculum will focus on equipping individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide world-class service, ultimately creating more memorable and positive experiences for visitors.
These strategic moves underscore DCT Abu Dhabi’s commitment to positioning the emirate as a premier global destination renowned for its exceptional hospitality and seamless visitor journeys. By incentivizing excellence and investing in the training of its workforce, Abu Dhabi aims to further solidify its reputation as a welcoming and high-quality destination for travelers from around the world, driving continued growth and success for its tourism sector.
Saleh Mohamed Al Geziry, Director General Tourism Sector at DCT Abu Dhabi, said: “Frontline workers and tourism businesses are the heart of Abu Dhabi’s visitor experience. This initiative empowers them, celebrates their passion, and inspires even greater levels of service. Through recognition programmes such as this, we are investing in the future of our tourism sector while ensuring seamless experiences for every visitor.”
