Nominations open for Italy Travel Tech Accelerator Program

With Italy Travel Tech Accelerator, the acceleration program designed to support young ideas and businesses, Broxlab aims to directly invest risk capital in startups in the South that will be selected to which a further non-repayable contribution can be added by the Ministry of Tourism. The call for the selection of startups of the Italy Travel Tech Accelerator Program proposed by Broxlab Srl will remain open until next March 31st.

“The support for this second Acceleration Program, within the Ministry’s Innovation Network, confirms the particular attention to the development of innovative startups” said Minister Daniela Santanchè. “In particular, the location in the South for carrying out the Program aims to promote the development of youth innovation and entrepreneurship directly in the territories of Southern Italy. The ambition is to start from the local dimension to create new companies with a high technological and innovative content, which can then compete in international markets, added Minister Santanchè.

“For us at Broxlab, supporting new innovative ideas is a fascinating challenge that we face every day”. So declares Francesco Perone, President of Broxlab, who adds: “As a Startup Studio we believe in the future and in the extraordinary potential of talents who deserve the right opportunities to be able to emerge. Another challenge is added to this challenge, namely the possibility of being able to demonstrate that the South is the ideal place where innovation and technology can meet virtuous ideas and ambitious projects to transform them into successes.”

Italy Travel Tech Accelerator will have a duration of five months, and provides for the implementation of various services for innovative startups, such as: support in the validation of the proposed solution; support for the launch of the product/service on the market; the definition of the development path, also through the identification of industrial and financial partners. The Acceleration Program will be based in Potenza, at the Broxlab Startup Studio premises.
