Oman’s predictive analytics startup, ZabonEx, revolutionising how Food & Beverage (F&B) businesses manage product distribution, has closed a $100,000 pre-seed investment round led by Future Fund Oman and ITHCA Group. The funding marks a significant milestone in ZabonEx’s mission to help F&B companies sell more and waste less through smart, data-driven solutions.
Founded by Hatim Moosa and Almuhannad Al Balushi, ZabonEx provides a B2B SaaS platform designed to equip food and beverage (F&B) producers, distributors, and retailers with customer-level demand forecasting capabilities. By providing real-time insights into where and when products will be consumed, the platform enables businesses to make more informed inventory decisions, reduce overproduction, and minimise food waste, thereby aligning profitability with sustainability.
“This round is a major step forward for us,” said Hatim Moosa, co-founder of ZabonEx. “It will allow us to accelerate both business development and product enhancement within Oman’s F&B ecosystem. We are committed to building a strong local foundation before expanding to regional markets.”

ZabonEx will utilise the new funding to enhance its predictive engine, strengthen its technology team, and build strategic partnerships with local food producers and retailers. The company is also developing tailored onboarding and reporting tools that address the unique needs of Oman’s diverse food market. With this momentum, ZabonEx aims to become the go-to intelligence layer for data-informed distribution across the region.
