Regus Opens Dual-Licence Workspace in Dubai

With the UAE’s continued economic growth driving demand for flexible, convenient and connected work space solutions, leading global workspace provider Regus has opened its first dual-licence business centre in Dubai serving both free zone and on-shore Dubai licence holders. Centrally located in the Dubai World Trade Centre – the region’s largest purpose-built complex for events and exhibitions – the new centre offers a prestigious address for businesses, whether start-ups, small or medium-sized enterprises or multinational corporations. Workspace options include private offices, co-sharing workspaces, a variety of meeting rooms, and full connectivity, thanks to state-of-the-art technology services.

The official opening of the new Regus centre was conducted in the presence of Dubai World Trade Centre Vice President Abdalla Al Banna and Dubai Economic Department Directors Walid Abdul Malik Ahli and Khalid El Fahim, and a number of VIP guests. Speaking at the event, Vassilis Bazinis, Country Manager UAE and Oman, Regus said: “Today’s workplace is undergoing a revolution, driven by the increasing demand for flexible workspace. Regus has been ahead of the trend, offering our customers the widest choice of inspiring workspaces, creating collaborative communities and delivering world class services.

“The opening of our 21st business centre in the UAE marks the first dual-licence workspace for Regus, and enables us to serve an even broader cross-section of companies from one of the most central business addresses in Dubai. By providing workspace solutions that are immediate, and flexible in length of lease and set-up, we enable businesses to operate in the most efficient manner from the day they arrive,” said Bazinis. In addition to making the latest workspace infrastructure available, Regus also provides administrative support for its members, ensuring all contact with a company’s customers is both professional and personal, and helping to minimize the operational costs of hiring fulltime admin staff.

As a truly global network with over 3,000 locations in more than 100 countries, Regus serves 2.5 million members worldwide. The new business centre in Dubai offers a new level of convenience for those international companies requiring access to professional meeting facilities while visiting Dubai, as well as for companies and entrepreneurs setting up or already established in the region.

“Our location in Dubai World Trade Centre means that our members attending one of the many international trade exhibitions and conferences held here in Dubai, are just steps away from immediate access to our facilities, whether to conduct a meeting or connect with their office. That offers tremendous peace of mind in the professional world, and is a further demonstration of the workspace revolution,” said Bazinis.

In addition to the Dubai World Trade Centre location, Regus has also opened Jumeirah Lakes Towers business centre this year. This demonstrates the rapid evolution of workplace environments in the UAE, and mirrors the current global trends of working from multiple locations and remotely, and developing co-sharing and collaborative spaces that encourage networking.
