The German motor oil and additive expert Liqui Moly has launched the Arabic version of its international website (www.liqui-moly.com/arabia). “This reflects the growing importance of the Arab region and should improve the service for our customers,” says Gerhard Riedmüller, Export Manager at Liqui Moly.
Along with English, Spanish, French and, of course, German, Arabic is now the fifth language option on the international Liqui Moly website. “Ever increasing numbers of Arab workshops and drivers are choosing ‘made in Germany’ quality,” says Riedmüller. “We want to offer those people the corresponding ‘made in Germany’ service on the internet.”
In most countries Liqui Moly is sold via independent importers that run their own websites. As an addition to these, all workshops, dealers and car drivers are to receive the same information, tips for application and news on the Arabic website. The centrepiece of the website is the oil guide. Using the oil guide, users can set the vehicle type, brand and model and instantly receive information on the right motor oils and gearbox oils and which oil they need for power steering and hydraulics.
This information can be printed out and kept in the car, so that you need never waste any time deciding which oil to buy. Because nowadays motor oil is like a liquid replacement part and the wrong oil can lead to problems, in the worst case engine damage. The Liqui Moly oil guide is free and can be used without registration – a useful tool for workshops and drivers alike.
“More and more we are concentrating on the export business,” says Gerhard Riedmüller. “And the Arab world is a key part of that. We want to ensure there is no language barrier between us and our customers.”
