FedEx Express Highlights Diversity Best Practices at Women in Leadership Forum

FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. and the world’s largest express transportation company, was the official Gold Sponsor and a panel participant at the 16th Global Edition of the Women in Leadership (WIL) Economic Forum that took place on the 19th and 20th of November in Dubai.

This year the forum united 300 influential business and thought leaders discussing key topics on women in leadership.  The current edition focused primarily on gender parity in business and the corporate world, as well as the promotion of economic development through female entrepreneurship.

Nathalie Amiel-Ferrault, vice president, EMEA Customer Experience, MEIA Marketing & Communications, FedEx Express, participated in the interactive panel ‘What next best Diversity & Inclusion practices look like – tools for cultural transformation and leadership’.  She highlighted the internal best practices that FedEx engages in to maintain a diverse workforce and the benefits businesses will see by encouraging gender diversity.

FedEx was founded on a people-first philosophy, where respect for all is a fundamental value and everyday business practice.  A diverse workforce, supplier base and supporting culture enables the company to serve its customers better and compete more effectively in the global marketplace. FedEx is listed as one of the great places to work across 25 countries worldwide and has consistently been ranked as one of the top ten great places to work in the UAE by the Great Place to Work Institute.

At the WIL Economic Forum, FedEx further supported attendees with a dedicated counter to meet their varied shipping requirements.
