For several years, many entrepreneurs have come through Mighty Labs’ fast-paced accelerator programs and moved on to set up successful businesses in their home countries with funding of up to 40 million EUR. Mighty Labs aims to support starting entrepreneurs with their early-stage ideas to propel their ventures to the next stage and ultimately enable them to set up successful businesses in their home countries. Every year, Mighty Labs run a country- or theme-based cycle. The 2016 cycle will be focusing on entrepreneurs from the MENA region.

Mighty Labs’ unique program is ideal for people gearing up to either join an accelerator, have an early product launch or are preparing to find seed funding. It consists of 4 themed weeks of residential trainings in Berlin, separated in the middle by 1 month of remote prototype testing in the entrepreneur’s home country supported by online coaches. After successful completion of the first residency and online coaching program, individuals are selected to move forward and are admitted to attend the second half. Once the program is over, entrepreneurs return home to build their businesses.

Entrepreneurs can apply for the program with their own funding, or apply for one of the limited scholarships. Mighty Labs offer a full scholarship (covering participation fee, travel and accommodation) as well as a half scholarship (covering participation fees). As for independent applicants they must pay 1,950 EUR for the program fee and organize their travel and accommodation. In terms of equity, Mighty Labs do not take any equity in entrepreneurs’ businesses, yet provide all the support, workspace and training they may need.
