TiE Dubai to Host Interactive Workshop on Online Advertising

As part of its ongoing mission to foster entrepreneurship and commitment to share educational experiences with its regional members, the Dubai Chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) is hosting a special interactive workshop for its members and start-up community. The two-hour workshop will be conducted by Brian Frankel, CEO & co-Founder of Wasta Tickets who is visiting from Los Angeles, California.

TiE Dubai’s interactive workshop that will cover sales funnels, search engine and social media advertising, re-targeting and automation. Frankel has managed national advertising budgets and marketing campaigns for a variety of products and services in the US.

“While we are all aware of the growing importance of online advertising, this is still quite confusing to start-ups and small businesses that need to tackle this on their own without the expertise of some of the larger agencies,” said Mahesh Jaishankar, Charter member and Board Member in-charge of Marketing at TiE Dubai. “We are privileged to have Brian Frankel take time during his visit to help our (TiE) members and start-ups understand the opportunities that exist in tapping into this growing resource.”

Brian Frankel said, “Dubai is emerging as the global hub of innovation. Online advertising plays an important part in value creation for these innovators. This workshop is designed to help meet the needs of growing startups to smartly (and effectively) use online advertising.”
