biz-group to Highlight Tried and Tested HR Strategies

biz-group, the Middle East’s leading business strategy, team-building and corporate training company, will present two seminars at the second Great Place to Work UAE (GPTW) Leadership Innovation Conference. The one-day conference, taking place at the H Hotel in Dubai on 12th February 2014, will help UAE business leaders learn more about leadership practices that are effective, sustainable and which ultimately drive employee trust.

Recently awarded the ‘Best SME to Work for in the UAE’ by Great Place to Work and a list maker on the Dubai SME 100 in 2011 and 2013, ranking 16th and 9th place respectively, biz-group was selected to present two topics at the annual seminar.

The ‘Change Leadership’ seminar by Noel Joseph, Consultant at biz-group, will challenge attendees to team up and tackle a real-world change initiative in an award-winning simulation. The second workshop ‘Becoming a Great Place to Work’, facilitated by biz-group’s General Manager Bev Mileham, will be an interactive presentation on how biz-group became the Best SME to Work for in the UAE. Mileham will share methods, tips and tools that leaders and managers can implement to improve their own workplaces.

“At biz-group we believe creating a workplace that encourages creativity, collaboration and change is essential to engage and develop employees, whether they are new graduates or senior management. This belief has been a major part of our own success story over the last 20 years and we are honoured to share both our experiences and those of our clients, at this respected industry event,” said Hazel Jackson, Founder & CEO of biz-group.

Throughout its 20-year history, biz-group has played an important role in the growth stories of some of the region’s most successful businesses including: National Bank of Abu Dhabi, Jumeirah Group, THE One, Al Tayer, Gasco, Majid Al Futtaim and Emirates Airlines. Integral to biz-group’s business success has been the partnerships it has forged with leading institutions and business gurus to ensure its programmes and services are delivered to international standards with local relevance.

“What is great about the Leadership Innovation Conference is we get to learn from other great workplaces and business leaders. At a time when businesses are under pressure to produce results while often working to reduced budgets, knowledge sharing workshops that impart industry best practices really help us refine and improve our internal procedures,” said Jackson.
