UAE Residents can now access expert legal advice at their fingertips with the newly launched app, Ask Legal. It allows them to navigate the law quickly and affordably, at only a fraction of the normal legal fees.

Ask Legal is the brainchild of Emirati legal expert, Abeer Sharif, and will cover areas including civil, commercial, criminal, family and labour law, as well as issues pertaining to intellectual property. Questions will be answered within a maximum of 72 hours and will ensure that citizens and residents needing support can have a better understanding of the law in the UAE.

Ms. Sharif, who has worked in the UAE legal sector since 2016, is part of a young generation of lawyers changing the face of the legal system.

The different package options available are created keeping in mind – individuals as well as small businesses. Clients can choose between a 30-minute chat where they will be able to ask as many questions as they wish, or a Zoom meeting of 45 minutes.

The app is available on both Android and iOS.
